Ex-Kabul scrapyard
Hinds. Of the six recovered that had positive ex-RAF
identities, 5 will be sold. The sixth is to be retained by
Pat Chriswick for his own enjoyment. The prices of the
others will vary between £50,000 and £80,000 depending on

Ex Kabul airport Hind
L 7181. This is one of the original recoveries (see past
pages of this site), and has been the subject of much
expense. It is being sold to fund the restoration of last
remaining Hawker Audax, being restored at Retrotec. The
price is £350,000 plus VAT and includes an excellent Kestrel
engine, which appears to be test run only. Contact

Ex Kabul scrapyard
Romeo Ro. 37 bis (engine Piaggio 700 hp 9-cyl air cooled
radial). Drawings and manuals are understood to be available
for this large pre-war military 2 seat biplane. This is the
ONLY Romeo to have been recovered and owned privately. For
